I love playing GOLDEN SLUMBERS WHAT BANDS INFLUENCE YOU? I like a lot of stuff, mostly sixties bands like The Hollies, The Kinks, The Stones - I love Led Zeppelin. Modern bands, my favourite is Cake WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ALBUM? Beatles album would be Abbey Road, but outside them I would probably be David Bowies Hunky Dory or Cakes Comfort Eagle WHAT IS THE BEST GIG YOU’VE BEEN TO? I saw Pink Floyd at Wembley Stadium which blew me away! Also I saw Neil Young playing with Booker T and The MG's at Hyde Park which was fantastic WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE GIG YOU HAVE PLAYED SO FAR? The one that sticks in my memory is the time we played on the Palace Pier, Brighton on an August Bank holiday - beautiful weather, beautiful people watching us! WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FILM? I really like The Lord Of The Rings trilogy - Oh, and The Rutles is really funny!! WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE TELEVISION SHOW? I would have to say I'm Alan Partridge or Bottom. I like a good comedy WHEN YOU GO OUT FOR A MEAL, WHAT WOULD YOU PREFER TO EAT? I love my curries!! WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE DRINK? A nice bottle of red wine is always welcome round my house! TELL US ONE OF YOUR MEMORIES OF RUBBER SOUL. I've got so many great stories but I will never forget the time I fell off the stage after a private gig. We had played our final gig of the year and it had been a fantastic night and as we were packing up, the stage stairs gave way underneath me and I broke two bones in my foot. The rest of the guys thought it was hilarious but believe me, it was the worst pain I can ever remember! But don't look for sympathy from your bandmates when there is a free bar!!
